Windhoek

The warmth and laid-back flair of the south Asian paradise of Thailand was the theme of the annual estate agent's Make Your Move function held in Windhoek in mid-April.

Namibia's foremost estate agents were treated to a night of glitzy entertainment and awarded for their achievements in the country's competitive property market.

Agency of the Year went to Stefan Loftie-Eaton Properties, with Joseph & Snyman in second and Lisa Engels Properties in third. Archie Graham was crowned developer of the year, with Kobus van Wyngaarden in second and OB Davids in third. Stefan Loftie-Eaton, the big winner on the night, was named Agent of the Year, with Lisa Engels second and Lourette Liebenberg third. The Country Estate Agent of the Year award was accepted by Dianne Esterhuizen of Weyand Estates. And Most Upcoming Agency of the Year was Lee Vayle Properties. On the night the property crowd were entertained by well-known South African TV personality and entertainer Danie Niehaus.

The winners of the awards received the prize of an seven-day expenses paid trip to Phuket, Thailand. The Make Your Move event was sponsored by FNB Namibia Home Loans.
