Angola: Swimming - Ana Romero National 'Absolute' Champion

Ana Romero, senior athlete of the Nautical Club of Luanda's Island, was considered as the absolute champion of the Complete Swimmer Tournament dubbed "João Ramos", with 2998 points, held on the weekend, at Alvalade Swimming Pool, in Luanda.

According to Lino Lourenço, secretary general of the Angolan Swimming Federation, Paulo Rebelo received the same consideration for the males' class with 3126 points.

The following positions were occupied by the beginners Kaira Klarsen (International School) 700 points, Kaita Fernandes (1º de Agosto, 154 pts), children's category Jessica Talbot (International School, 1629 points), Gilson Brito (1º de Agosto, 1517), juveniles Alley Talh (International School, 1985), juniors Nadine Oliveira (CNIL, 1910), Victor Lopes (1º de Agosto, 1534), seniors Paulo Rebelo (CNIL, 3126).

The competition included races in 50 metres Crawl, 100 metres Butterfly, 200 metres is Freestyle, 100metres Breast Stroke, 100 metres Back Stroke, 100 metres Freestyle, and each swimmer needs to swim in all styles in order to be considered as "complete".
