Angola: Cosafa Cup - Competing Teams Expected Thursday

The teams expected to participate in the Southern Africa regional female soccer tournament (Cosafa Cup) are all expected to arrive this Thursday, in Luanda, travelling on the same day to the venues of the competition, namely the provinces of Malanje (centre-north) and Benguela (south-west).

The information was given to ANGOP by the Angola Football Federation (FAF)'s female sports co-ordinator, Nelson do Nascimento, stating that Namibia will be the last squad to arrive in Luanda, due to flight plans.

Angola, Mozambique, Namibia and Swaziland will compete in group "A", in Malanje City, while South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe are in Benguela (group B).

The draw was done on Monday, in Luanda, in the presence of Cosafa chairperson, Suketu Patel, from Seychelles.

First Round Fixtures - May 03

Group A - Malanje

Swaziland x Namibia

Angola x Mozambique

Group B - Benguela

Zimbabwe x Zambia
