Close to 60 pop star hopefuls met at the Big Five Lodge for a briefing of Pop Stars Botswana. The show is the brainchild of none other than Botswana's reggae ambassador to the UK, Master Dee.

For the next six months he hopes to unearth the first Botswana pop star that he will take over to the UK for recording.

Auditions for the show start at The Big Five Lodge tomorrow. More auditions will be held around the country until an unspecified number of finalists will be selected for a grand show. Thabiso Nasha of RB2 fame will be the presenter of the show that will be broadcast on Btv.
