Eritrea: Ambassador Alem Presents Credentials to President of Singapore

The Eritrean Ambassador to India, Mr. Alem Tsehaye, presented his credentials to President Sellapan Ramanathan of Singapore as the non-resident Ambassador to that country.

During the presentation ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed President Isaias Afwerki's greetings and assured that he would work diligently in strengthening relations between the two countries. Mr. Alem also briefed the President Sellapan on Eritrea's development strategy of achieving food security and investment opportunities available in the country, as well as the role Eritrea is playing to promote peace in the region.

President Sellapan Ramanathan on his part expressed the Singaporean government's readiness to develop the historical relations between the two countries. Expressing readiness to foster cooperation in the domain of human resource development, the Singaporean President also wished President Isaias good health.

Moreover, Ambassador Alem exchanged views with Singaporean government officials on different topics.
