Luanda — Angola's Planning minister, Ana Dias Lourenço, and Japanese ambassador to the country, Susumu Shibata, Tuesday here discussed the contribution of Angola to the fourth International Conference of Tokyo on Development of Africa, slated for next May 29-30 in the Asian state.
Speaking to Angop, at the end of an audience with the Angolan Cabinet Minister, the Japanese diplomat said that the Tokyo meeting will be an opportunity for the participating countries to analyse the paths towards the enlargement of cooperation between Africa and Japan, thus enabling them to outline new development ways.
Susumu Shibata said that during the meeting with the Angolan Planning minister they analysed, among other issues, the composition of Angolan delegation to the event, as well as other technical matters relating the participation of the Southern African country at Tokyo Summit. According to the Japanese diplomat with the holding of this international conference his country wants to strengthen Asia/Africa cooperation aiming at sharing Asian experiences.
Ana Dias Lourenço also received the ambassadors of Great Britain, Patrícia Ruth Philip and Cape Verde Domingos Mascarenhas
