THE Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has donated scholastic materials to pupils of Gospel Valley Primary School in Kayunga Town Council.

Nina Okubo, a JICA volunteer, handed over the items recently at the school. They included exercise books, textbooks, pens, crayons, mathematical sets and sports equipment.

Okubo said JICA chose the school because it was the best in the town council in last year's Primary Leaving Examinations.

She said JICA would continue to give out scholastic materials to primary schools in the town council, especially those which perform well in national examinations.
