The Campaign against HIV/AIDS, violence against women and small arms will continue Thursday in Gbarnga, Bong County with street parade and a day-long jamboree.

Making the disclosure, the Executive Director of the Liberia Crusaders for Peace, Amb. Julie Endee said the HIV/AIDS awareness campaign will include door -to-door sensitization and workshop on the danger of the disease.

She said the HIV/AIDS campaign is expected to bring together over 10,000 participants especially women organizations, students, marketers and peer educators from Nimba, Lofa and Bong counties.

The Liberian Culture Ambassador said the aim of the workshop is to sensitize the rural population on the danger of AIDS and the existence of the sickness which she noted has no cure.

She indicated that over 25 gospel and secular musical artists and two bands will participate in the Gbarnga campaign.

The workshop would focus on HIV/AIDS stigma, discrimination against HIV/AIDS carriers and the importance of condoms.
