Lubango — The southern Huila Province will gain next year a Traditional and Natural Medicine Higher Institute, whose building works start in next June, in the surroundings of Lubango City, ANGOP has learnt.
This was announced by the chairperson of the General Commission for Traditional and Natural Medicine (Commenta), Miguel Catengue, who added that the institution will cater for 99 students in three shifts.
The institute will be built in Huila due to the province's potential in the field of medicinal flora, as well as its tradition in curing in this area.
The institute will have two classrooms, three laboratories with 20 computers in a project that will have the partnership of the Association of Natural Medicine of Liberia.
Similar institutes exist already in countries such as Zambia, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria and Algeria.
