Kampala City Council FC stayed in contention for the National Super League title with their ninth consecutive victory. George Nsimbe's inspired charges dispatched Biharwe 1-0 courtesy of a first half strike from in form front runner Robert Ssentongo. It was his seventh goal in four matches.
The win took KCC to 64 points from 30 games, the same tally as Police FC who beat Masaka 1-0 thanks to a 40th minute effort from Amran Mukasa. The cops survived a late onslaught from Masaka to move three point clear of SC Villa despite having keeper Faisal Kanene sent off for a professional foul on Aloysius Lubega.
