Harare — A resurgent Mwana Africa will be looking for their fourth win in a row when they take on Zinwa in a Northern Region Division One soccer match at Ngoni Stadium in Norton this afternoon.

After a shaky start to the season in which they failed to win their first three matches, Mwana Africa have finally woken from their deep slumber as they have won their last three games against Quick 'n Easy, Black Mambas and Zimasco.

The Division One league games resume today with a full midweek programme after the game's leadership resolved their stalemate with the Referees Committee and agreed to pay $1,5 billion to the match officials.

Stanford "Stix" Mtizwa's Mwana Africa are now in third lace with 10 points from six outings, and this afternoon the former Black Rhinos and Jets coach will be hoping to post his fourth win on the trot when they travel to play newcomers Zinwa.

Log leaders Black Rhinos will be away to seventh-placed Kurai in Chinhoyi hoping to consolidate their pole position.

Second-placed Flame Lilly will face Turnall at the University of Zimbabwe seeking to win the match, as they would want to keep pace with the soldiers.

Turnall are blowing hot and cold in the league in which they have posted some good results on a fine day in the office and have also been humiliated on abad day. In one instance they thrashed Black Mambas 4-2 but soon found themselves on the wrong end of a 4-1 hammering by Black Rhinos 4-1.

Bottom-placed Grain Tigers will host Douglas Warriors at Aspindale searching for their first win of the season.

Perennial campaigners Douglas Warriors, who had a poor start appear to have finally found their stride and have now won their last two matches.
