FORMER Electoral Commission chairman Aziz Kalungi Kasujja is Uganda's envoy to United Arab Emirates (UAE), writes Ahmed Mukiibi.
Kasujja, who is also Uganda's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, presented his credentials to the president of the State of United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The ceremony, which took place at the president's palace in Abu Dhabi recently, was attended by the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other officials.
A statement from the Embassy of Uganda in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia said Khalifa pledged to support and promotes bilateral relations between Uganda and UAE
