UGANDA took centre stage at the just-concluded Event 360 Conference in Dubai from April 27 to 28.

Peter Kagwa, the head of Events Warehouse, who shared his experiences in leading the team that produced the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting last year, highlighted the challenges Uganda faced to host an international event.

Kagwa underscored Uganda's potential of hosting international functions because of the new facilities and the capacity to execute such events.

The function was attended by special events leaders from around the world.

"Dubai is positioning herself as the leading destination for high international events," Kagwa remarked.

The conference was conducted alongside the Palme Middle East Exhibition for the events industry.
