Nigeria: EFCC Re-Arraigns Kalu Over Fresh Charges

Abia — The former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, was yesterday re-arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on 112 fresh charges of money laundering and stealing of over N3 billion belonging to the Abia State government.

Kalu who pleaded not guilty to all the charges, was subsequently released on bail by the presiding Judge, Justice Adamu Bello on the former conditions of bail earlier granted by Justice Binta Murtala Nyako.
