Prince Hitler Mbinglo, SCNC Northern Zone Chairman, has claimed that plans to frame with charges of gunrunning and arrest him ahead of May 20 celebrations, have leaked.

"I have been informed by a highly placed security officer that plans have been finalised to implicate me in a deal of gunrunning so that it can facilitate my arrest and detention before May 20 celebrations.

Reasons are that the administration of La Republic is afraid that the SCNC will disrupt the smooth celebrations of this year's celebration. The government of La Republique has always made it a point of duty to arrest us before their event and later release us months after without reasonable charges," declared Mbinglo.

Prince Mbinglo said he is unable to feed his family not to talk of importing guns. "Do they see me as somebody who can afford to smuggle guns into the country?" He said friends and relations have advised him to escape from town. "I have told them that I can never escape from being arrested."

He said he has informed his hierarchy to take necessary measures.
