Liberia's oldest GSM Company, the LoneStar Cell Corporation has responded to an emergency appeal made by the Frank Town Public School in Careysburg City.

The Frank Town Public School in recent time made an appeal to the LoneStar Cell Company for the provision of chairs for the students who were totally without chairs.

Upon the request, the nation's oldest GSM provider allocated resources for the speedy donation of armchairs to the school.

According to the LoneStar Cell Marketing Officer, Ibrahim Daramie, the company will remain supportive to the government of Liberia programs.

Mr. Daramie said the company is more than just making profits. "We have social responsibility to our nation and people and that is our major target," he pointed out.

He said with the availability of the chairs, the crisis in the classrooms for ownership of chair will cease and there will be one-to-one chair situation.

In response, the school's administrator thanked the GSM Company for the chairs and prayed that they will continue with their humanitarian initiative throughout the country.

The donation ceremony took place last weekend in Careysburg City with a challenge to the school's authority to maintain the chairs.
