In response to global and local demands, for a more pro-active advocacy approach to the needs of the down trodden masses in seeking their welfare, the leadership of the pioneering pro-democracy organization, the Partriotic Consciousness Association of Liberia (PACA), has carried out major restructure and remodeling of its scope of operations.
According to an official PACA's press statement issued on Saturday, April 26, 2008, following a consultative meeting of PACA's executives, the organization appointed the following officials with immediate effect.
Those appointed were Mr. David Mulbah, Vice Chairman for Operations, Mr. Zerlee Gbatoe, National Secretary General, Mr. Richard Tiak, Assistant Secretary for Mobilization and Membership, Madame Genervie Suah, Coordinator, Gender Affairs and Mr. George Chepoyee, National Media Coordinator.
PACA's founder and National Executive Chairman, Mr. E. Frederick Baye, stated that with the restructure, PACA shall assume a more non-governmental (NGO) approach in supporting both local and international programs, such as malaria control, millennium development goals, poverty reduction strategy (PRS) while advocating against gender-based violence and issues of national political concerns.
