Luanda — Sixteen of the 17 members of the Cape Verdean music band dubbed "Livity" arrived this Thursday afternoon, in Luanda, to participate in the second show to celebrate the International Peace Festival, held by Casa Blanca show promoting company.
ANGOP learnt from a source of the delegation that the band only waits for the arrival of the main singer Jorge Neto, scheduled for any moment, so that the band can be in full force to show what they are capable of, as from 08pm, during the "Worker's Festival".
Scheduled for Atlantico Cinema, the show will also count on the participation of another renowned Cape Verdean singer, Gil Semedo, and Angolans Paulo Flores and the Impactos 4 band.
Without confirming the arrival of Gil Semedo, a source of Casa Blanca informed that the participation of Livity band in this evening's show shall depend on the arrival of Jorge Neto, the individual who encouraged the creation of the group, one of the best Cape Verdean band since the end of the 80s until 1995.
The Peace Festival, dividing into four different designations (Peace Festival, Worker's Festival, Remembrance Festival and the Great Peace Festival), started last Wednesday, and was opened by the famous USA rap group, G-Unit.
