Kampala — People with disabilities have said the Labour Day celebrations do not mean much to them because they are discriminated against by employers.
"If it were possible, we would stay away from the celebrations. But we cannot boycott because we want to show that we are around," said Hellen Asamo, the deputy director of the National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda.
