The Ministerial Troika of the sub-committee with the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) for political issues, defence and security is meeting as from Friday to analyse the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the crisis in Zimbabwe and the post-elections conflict in Lesotho, ANGOP has learnt.

According to a press note from the Angolan Foreign Ministry, the gathering will also debate other political, security and defence matters relating to the region.

The troika is made up by Angola that chairs the organ through the Foreign minister, Joao Bernardo de Miranda, Swaziland as deputy chair, and Tanzania as ceasing chair holder.
