Strange things are happening and most people are conjecturing that is a sign indicating the end of time. The bible speaks of strange of happenings when the world is nearing its end.

The case in point is the recent reported beating to death of a woman by a man believed to be her husband. Reports emerging from Rivercess County say man identified as Weah Paylay beat his wife until she gave her ghost.

The incident, according to the reports occurred last Friday in the village of Klaygebe. Residents, upon hearing the news, rushed to the scene to get an idea of what was happening.

Paylay, said to be 30 years of age, took action in protest of his late alleged refusal to share with him cooked plantains, which he claimed to have deserved after a long day's work.

Reports said Palay had just returned from the farm in the evening hours, and met his wife, identified as Watta Palay cooking the plantains. Having waited to get his share of the plantains, Watta did otherwise.

Her action, according to the reports, infuriated the accused. Immediately, Paylay reportedly grabbed the woman he loved and heartlessly beat her to death.

Speaking to The Analyst yesterday via mobile phone, the Program Director of the Rivercess Radio, Perry Chea confirmed the incident.

He said the incident started when Weah went in the bush to check on his trap and the farm both of them own. According to Chea, before his departure, he requested his wife (Watta) to cook the plantains.

Mr. Chea said upon his return from the bush, Watta had already cooked the plantains with light gravy soup, but did not give him because she had shared with "some guest from the nearby village went to visit the family.

Apparently, owing to the fact that the plantains were insufficient, it is reported that the late Watta promised to prepare something for her husband, but Paylay did not buy her idea.

Chea quoted Paylay as saying that he felt disgraced by his wife not sharing the food with him. According to him, Watta was 25 years old and was three months pregnant.

Also, the opinion in this story is more than the news. Why can't your writers allow readers to form their own opinion?

What a man beating his wife to death has to do with the world comming to an end?

Thanks

DEE
