Five Nigerian boxers to the forthcoming Beijing Olympics has been given another chance to prove their class at the World Championships in Morocco.

Femi Babafemi, National Boxing Coach, told NAN that the competition would serve as part of their training for the Olympics fiesta.

"The five boxers who have qualified for the Olympic Games will attend the tournament in Morocco," Babafemi said.

The championships will hold from May 20 to May 30. Nigeria secured five berths in the August Olympic Games in Beijing in the African qualifiers held in Namibia in February.

The boxers are Saheed Lawal, Lanre Durodola, Ekene Danloko, Dauda Izobo and Ehwareme Onorode. Babafemi said the fighters had intensified their training at the Benin camp. The coach said the technical crew were hopeful of returning from Beijing with two gold medals.
