Two matches in the MTC Namibia Premier League have been postponed because two teams have more than four players each in the national team due to take on Zimbabwe on Sunday.

Both Civics and Ramblers have more than four players each in the national team which will travel to Harare at the end of this week for the first edition of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) African Nations Championships.

Civics was due to play Orlando Pirates on Friday, while Ramblers was to take on Black Africa on Saturday.

About two weeks ago, the technical committee of the under-20 national soccer team had a verbal altercation with Civics head coach Ricardo Manneti, who demanded to have his players released from camp because of a league commitment but their request was refused.

The national under-20 soccer team played to a one-all draw against Botswana last Friday.
