Mai-Mine

A 30 km-long road running from Mai-Mine to Kisadquare has been renovated and is rendering service, according to Mr. Woldenkeal Kidane, head of economic affairs in the Southern region. The road has now been expanded through the active participation of skilled manpower and machineries.

Likewise, a 20 km-long road linking Mai-Mine with Adi-Chigono has been repaired and the local inhabitants have now reliable access to agricultural products in Ubel. Mr. Woldenkeal further indicated that the newly renovated roads would play significant role in improving the standards of living of the local inhabitants and reinforcing the ongoing efforts to achieve food security.

Moreover, reports indicated that another 13 km-long road running from Mai-Mine to Mai-Gorzo has also been repaired, thus providing better transport service to the inhabitants of Adi-Hans, Adi-Merho and Mai-Gorzo.
