Luanda — The Angolan national women team of football defeated the Mozambican side by 4-0 Saturday at 1º de Maio stadium, in northern Malanje province.
The game was part of group A's first round of the fifth edition of the Confederation of the Southern Africa Football Association (Cosafa) Cup.
In the first half, the Angolan squad was already winning 2-0.
In the first match of the same group played in the morning in the same pitch, Namibia beat Swaziland by 4-0.
In group B, in Benguela city, Angola's central province, South Africa (title holder) beat Botswana by 5-0, while Zambia defeated Zimbabwe (1-0).
