The deputy minister of Social Communication, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho "Wadijimbi", Saturday in central Huambo province, admitted that the quality and rigour of information material published by journalists of local media organs has been on the rise.

Speaking to the press, on arrival in the province, Wadijimbi said there has been an effort on the part of journalists to improve the quality of their job and informative materials, which encourages the Ministry to continue investing in the sector.

Manuel Miguel de Carvalho "Wadjimbi" added that the levels achieved by journalists of the region compared to the past, is of higher level as the professionals have contributed for a more serious and responsible journalism, as well as for the development of the province.

During his stay in Huambo province, the official visited works of rehabilitation of the building of the provincial radio station, the future journalists training centre and held meetings with heads of media organs and journalists.
