Huambo — Angola's main opposition party Unita deputy secretary to Huambo province Ricardo Ekupa de Noe on Sunday here called on journalists of various media organs to develop their activities with a greater professionalism taking into account impartiality and rigour due to the coming legislative elections marked for next September 05-06.
Speaking to Angop, the partisan entity said if the journalists meet these goals they will contribute to the success of the next elections.
"With the coming of the next elections, I think media should adopt a more professional posture, assuming thus its role in the transmission of news that contribute to the consolidation of peace and democracy, respecting the juridical and legal principles for the practice of this activity".
