Lubango — At least USD 4.1 million will be spent this year on water supply projects in the Southern Huila Province, under the first stage of the "Agua Para Todos" programme, Angop has learnt.
This was announced by the provincial director of energy and water supply, Abel da Costa, who added that the amount will also serve to improve water supply at the surroundings of Lubango city, as well as Humpata, Chibia, Caconda, Caluquembe and Cacula districts.
Fifty wells will simultaneously be built in a project to benefit over 50,000 inhabitants.
