Angola: Cape Verdean Band Livity Willing to Come Back to Angola

Cape Verde's music band Livity on Sunday here expressed their desire to return to Angola after their participation in the International Peace Festival, in Luanda.

The information was given by the band's manager Betinho Santana, adding that this intention is due to the fact that that the members are familiar with the Angolans and they feel at home.

"Angola represents to us Cape Verdeans in general, and to the members of Livity, our second home, thus when an opportunity comes we will not think twice. We have a great relationship with Angola and it is very important to us".

Commenting on the fact that the band performed in two different places in 30 minutes, he said it is not new to them.

"We have already experienced similar situation, but at the time it took place we had to perform twice on the same day and with more break time than this one", he said.

With a career spanning 17 years, the band created by Jorge Neto, Grace Evora, Kino Cabral, Johnny Fonseca and Roberto Matias have released albums like Rosinha, Sem Ninguem, Diló, Harmonia, Felicidade, Coração Blue and Quebale.
