Angola: CPLP Audit Courts Outline Strategy for 2008/2010 Biennium

The chief judges of the Audit Courts of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP) meet from May 08 to 09, in Oporto city, Portugal, in its 5th General Assembly, to outline the strategy of acting during the 2008/2010 biennium, as well as the impact of activities of the Organisation of Superior Audit Institutions (OISC).

Angola shall be presented at the gathering by the chief judge of the Audit Court, Julião António.

The chief judges will also discuss and approve the report of activities referring to the 2006/08 period of the organisation's general secretariat, chaired by Brazil, and the Centre of Study and Training, led by Portugal.

Choosing the headquarters for the next General Assembly, of the General Secretariat, of the Centre of Study and Training shall also be analysed during the meeting of the Organisation of Superior Audit Institutions (OISC) of CPLP.

At this meeting, Angola was selected to preside over the session relating to the "Strategic Goals of OISC for 2008/2010".

OISC members meet in general assembly every two years, and the last gathering was held in Maputo, Mozambique, in July 2006, under the topic External Control of Public-Private Partnerships.
