The deputy chief of General Staff of Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) for operative area, general Salviano de Jesus Cequeira "Kianda", Monday here recognised the existence in the country of a full stability, able to guarantee the success of the national reconstruction process, Angop has learnt.

The military official affirmed that at the opening of the 16th meeting of experts of Sub-Committee on Armed Forces of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) member states.

He said "Angola is in full progress and development, being noticeable investments in the national reconstruction sector, with highlight to, among other enterprises, the means of communication".

According to general Salviano de Jesus "Kianda" it is already a reality, with the aid of FAA's engineer units which cooperate with the civil engineering and de-mining companies and the reestablishment of the main channel of communication within the capital city (Luanda) and other provinces of the country.

In his speech, general Kianda spoke on the Government efforts for the holding of the next legislative elections, set for forthcoming September.

For two days, the chiefs of the Armed Forces Operations of the southern Africa region will analyse the reports of the achieved progresses in the establishment of SADC Brigade (SADCBRIG), the training centre of peace-keeping and the recent floods hitting the region.

This meeting precedes the meeting of the Sub-Committee of General Army Staffs of the community that will take place on Thursday, in Talatona Convention Centre, in Luanda.
