MNet has announced that it is extending the deadline for entries for Big Brother Africa 3, until May 7. The original deadline was April 30.

The MNet Director of Operations for sub-Saharan Africa, Joseph Hundah, said the extension was initiated to give entrants a few more days to complete the comprehensive entry form and to give late entrants an opportunity to get their entries in.

"From the moment we announced a third season of Big Brother Africa, entries have been pouring in. We've already received thousands and thousands of entries from across Africa. However, given requests for a longer entry period, plus the fact that we have the time and resources required to facilitate this, we decided to extend the deadline. Big Brother Africa 3 is here and there are only 12 spaces for housemates. If you want to be one of them and stand a chance of winning $100,000, get your entry in!" Hundah said.

The hit reality show will launch on Sunday, August 24 and will be screened on DStv channel 198.
