Francistown — The world's tallest man, Leonid Stadnyk, 37, was presented with keys to his custom-built Chevy Tacuma van by the Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko recently.
It is reported that the Chevy was built by a team of designers from the ZAZ factory in Zaporizhia, which builds a number of Chevy models for the region.
Stadnyk who towers at 2.58 metres, was officially crowned the world's tallest man by the Guinness Book of Records in 2007, snatching the title from a Chinese man.
Because of the attention he gets because of his height, good-natured people have provided him with things like custom-fitted clothing, electricity for his home, a giant bicycle, satellite TV and a home computer.
