Huambo

Petro do Huambo goalkeeper, Clemente Mendonça "Marito" terminated his contract signed in 2006 with the team, on the grounds that he is not being sufficiently used.

Marito came to an agreement with Petro's administration last weekend to end the contract and might join Académica do Soyo, a second division team, ANGOP has learnt.

Aged 29, the goalkeeper wishes to play in team where he will be playing regularly, unlike what happened in Petro do Huambo.

First choice player during Petro do Huambo's qualification for the first division in the 2006 season, Marito became substitute the following year after the return of Kapessa (now the team's main goalkeeper).

In the first division he only played five games in Girabola-2007 and has not yet been used this year.
