The deputy minister of Planning, Pedro Luís da Fonseca, left for the south-eastern Kuando Kubango Province in the ambit of following up the execution of public investments projects and learn about the difficulties being faced.

Speaking to ANGOP, at the "4 de Fevereiro" international airport, Pedro Luís da Fonseca said that his visit to the province is aimed at assessing the pace of works and carry out the necessary readjustments if necessary.

In the province, the official will also be informed about the execution of the public sector's investment projects part of the programme of improving and increasing the supply of basic services and goods for the population.

Among the projects to be checked include the sectors of water, transport, energy, health and education. He will also visit projects liked to the recovery of infrastructures.

According to the deputy minister, some of these projects were accomplished last year and others will be done at the end of this year.
