Ge — UíAt least 21 citizens from the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo who had been living illegally in Angola's northern Uíge province, will be repatriated on Wednesday by the local Foreigners and Migration Services (SME).
The repatriation process will be done from Quimbata border post, located in Maquela do Zombo district, 293 kilometres north off Uije city.
Speaking to Angop, the provincial director of SME in Uíge, Manuel Miguel, said that the illegal foreign nationals had been caught during micro operations of supervision carried out in the region.
He reminded that 290 illegal foreigners, mostly from neighbouring DR Congo, had already been repatriated for the past three months.
