The team of inspectors with the African Football Confederation (CAF) left Luanda on Tuesday after assessing the efforts of the Angolan government in the construction of stadiums and hotels for the African Cup of Nations (CAN), which Angola will host in 2010, ANGOP has learnt.

The delegation was led by CAF's deputy chairperson Molefi Oliphant and toured the cities of Benguela and Lubango where building works, in the mentioned ambit, are taking place.

In Benguela, the inspectors visited the new stadium that will have 35.000 sets and were also briefed on the conclusion of the works, set for late November 2009.

The CAF officials also visited, in Lubango, the building site of a new stadium, hotels and the works for the building of a new central hospital.
