PRIMARY school teachers who do not want to settle in the returned school sites in Gulu district risk losing their jobs, a district education official has said.

Santo Ocii was recently speaking at the global education week celebrations organised by Literacy Adult Basic Education (LABE) at Te-got Atoo Primary School in Paicho sub-county.

"Teachers' attendance is irregular in most primary schools. We shall not sit back and just see you make our children suffer," Ocii said. He was reacting to a complaint from parents that teachers miss classes.
