OVER 22 Ugandans have left for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates since the beginning of the year. Another 200 are expected to travel over the next five months for security jobs, Hassan Abdulrazak, the managing director of Two Niles Agency, told reporters at the Entebbe International Airport before the departure of nine latest recruits.

"In January, we exported 13 Ugandans to Dubai and on May 4, the second group of nine joined them.

All are working with the First Security Group as guards to places like banks, underground tunnels and malls. The guards are earning around $280 (sh0.46m) plus food allowance and accommodation allowance," he said after seeing off the recruits.
