Uganda: Road Signs Are a Total Disaster to Users

This is a response to an article by Paul Mugabi titled Road Sign Thefts Irk Rafu (Daily Monitor, May 1). Much as there is theft of road signs, those that remain are totally misleading.

Having "liberalised" the erection of road signs as part of corporate social responsibility, companies have taken to erecting road signs. However, some of them are a disgrace to road users. Rafu needs to ensure accuracy and validity of these signs because the ultimate responsibility lies with them.
