Luanda

Luanda provincial government is studying a way to institutionalise the International Festival of Theatre and Arts created by Elinga Teatro on Tuesday announced an official source.

Luanda's culture department head, Manuel Sebastiao, said at the official opening of the festival that the city and the country are in need of a similar activity, being thus necessary to stimulate art makers and actors to improve their performance.

The festival is to start on Thursday.

"The international festival will enable the existence of an interchange among Angolan artists and groups of reference of other countries that will participate in these events", he said.
