Luanda — The signing of agreement between the National Institute of Fight against HIV/AIDS (INLS) and public institutions on Wednesday in Luanda symbolizes the partnership for actions to fight HIV/AIDS, especially in the disease control and access to medicines.
This is one of the considerations made by Health Minister, Ruben Sicato, to whom the actions to fight the disease should be intensified and co-ordinated in every level, since Angola is located in world's HIV/AIDS most infected region.
According to the minister, who was speaking during the signing of agreements which include the Ministries of Education, Social Welfare, Defence, Employment and Social Security and INLS it is necessary through unity to find efficient answers to the problem.
During the ceremony it was also signed an accord between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the National Blood Centre.
