Central Region Division Two campaigners, Perrank FC put up a spirited performance when they beat Metro Stars 4-2 on penalties to win this year's May Day gala competition held at the Kasoa Park last Thursday.

It was Perrank's goalkeeper, Francis Agbeko, who made the difference when he saved three of the spot kicks after a keenly contested final game. For their efforts, they took home a giant trophy and special cash prize.

The competition which attracted eight teams from the Central Region was put together by Wadada Scouting Company Limited.

The CEO of Perrank FC, Frank Agyekum described the keenly contested competition as a success.
