Eritrea: Youths Residing in Torino Set Up Association to Strengthen Their Organizational Capacity

Eritrean youth residing in the Italian city of Torino held a meeting from May 4 to 5, during which they set up an association in a bid to strengthen their organizational capacity.

Following discussion on the objective situation in the Homeland and the national development drive, the participants of the meeting reiterated their commitment to step up endeavors in the nation-building process.

The Chairman of the Eritrean Community in Torino, Mr. Berhane Girmu, and the head of the Eritrean youth association in Italy, Mr. Ataklti Arefaine, gave separate briefings on the role of Eritrean youth inside the country and abroad. They further called on the youth to live up to the nation's expectation.
