Massawa — A Youth and Students Week organized jointly by the Ministry of Education branch in the Northern Red Sea region and the NUEYS branch in the region was colorfully conducted there from May 2 to 4.
The branch head of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Yasin Mohammed, expressed appreciation to those who made due contribution to the success of the event and indicated that the Week is aimed at creating a conducive ground for students to exchange experience and familiarize themselves with the world of work.
The Administrator of the Ginda sub-zone, Ms. Amna Haj, on her part stressed the need to reinforce efforts towards nurturing a dynamic and dedicated youth equipped with necessary knowledge and skill.
Similarly, the PFDJ head in the region, Mr. Hamid Haji, noted the significance of inculcating youths with the sense of skill and reinforcing nationalism among their ranks towards safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and backing up development programs.
Different programs, including handcraft works, paintings, sculptures, arts exhibition and the like, were featured in the course of the event in which village elders, religious leaders, Assembly members, branch heads of ministries and the PFDJ took part.
