Namibia: Top Estate Agents Win Trip

Five Namibian estate agents will travel to Thailand on an incentive trip sponsored by First National Bank Namibia for their business contribution to the bank.

FNB Namibia held its annual Home Loans Estate Agents awards ceremony in Windhoek last week with the theme of the event giving off a true atmosphere of paradise.

The estate agents to travel to Thailand will be Stefan Loftie-Eaton, Lourette Liebenberg, Lisa Engels, Archie Graham and Dianne Esterhuizen.

Loftie-Eaton, Engels, and Liebenberg scooped the first, second and third prize in the Estate Agent of the Year award category respectively.

The Head of FNB Home Loans Thomas Slabbert and FNB Estate Agents' Liaison Manager Alvina Wellmann will accompany the winners on the trip.

"We at FNB Namibia honoured outstanding performers in the housing industry where estate agents and property developers walked away with huge prizes for creating excellent business opportunities for FNB Namibia Home Loans, and for adding value to the growth of our home loan book during the past year," said Wellmann.

Windhoek estate agents who received certificates for generating business worth up to N$6 million were Caroline da Rocha, Arno van Wyk, Jan Balt, Alecia Platt, Susanne Slabbert, Marietjie Rich, Annelie Schrader, Daleen Engelbrecht, Venus Klazen, Marius Prinsloo, Jolize Gous, Johan van der Merwe, Maudi Mouton, Lusa Schurz, Elma Truter, Marian Herbst, Frieda Senior, Diane Salt, Nico Smit and O'B Davids.

The FNB Home Loans staff members were also awarded for Top Home Loan Mobile Consultant, which went to Melani de Klerk, while the Top Home Loan In-house Consultant award went to Annelie Kruger.

Abraham Luusala of Lee Vayle Properties was awarded the Most Upcoming Agent of the Year prize.

The Developer of the Year award went to Archie Graham of Jimmey Construction.

The Top Rural Estate Agent of the Year award went to Dianne Esterhuizen of Weyan Immobilien in Swakopmund.
