Huambo — The chairman of the Angola National Electoral Commission (CNE), Caetano de Sousa, will be travelling to central Huambo province on Friday, for a few hours working visit meant for an assessment of the organisation and functioning of the organ's structures in the region.
According to a note from Huambo Provincial Electoral Commission that reached Angop, Caetano de Sousa and his delegation will also visit on the same day the district of Bailundo, where he will inaugurate the local electoral bureaux.
According to the Commission, electoral bureaux have already been installed in all Huambo districts.
The ongoing countrywide electoral registration updating process will go until the end of this month.
According to CNE's data, over eight million voters registered in the first phase of the process for the legislative election set for September this year.
