Kenyan Premier League (KPL) leaders Mathare United have been boosted by the return of their prolific striker Francis Ouma ahead of their away encounter against Bandari FC tomorrow in Mombasa.

Ouma, who is one of the team's key strikers arrived on Monday after a three weeks trial with Belgian club Germinal Beerschot and will be available for the Bandari showdown.

Coach Francis Kimanzi, however, said Ouma would be on the bench to give a chance to Vincent Omondi who was outstanding against Sony in Awendo last weekend.

World Hope: Former international midfielder Justus Basweti is back in action for the fourth placed team.

Basweti suffered a heap injury during their match against Sher Karuturi a month ago and is now fully fit for their berth with Sony Sugar at Hope Centre on Sunday.

Thika United: On form Under-20 striker Stephen Waruru who notched a brace against Somalia last weekend is back for his club which hosts Sher Karuturi on Sunday.

Waruru's opportunistic strikes steered Kenya to the next level of the Africa Youth Championships and has raised his chances of earning a place in the starting line-up.

Also back to the side are right back George Maina and former international Anthony Mathenge. Maina has recovered from a bout of Malaria, while Mathenge has recovered from a groin injury he picked in training.

International James Odhiambo is, however, out of action with a knee injury.

Gor Mahia: International defender Andrew Oyombe is likely to be omitted from the team list in their match against Western Stima away on Sunday.

Oyombe has never trained with the side since missing a penalty against reigning champions Tusker FC on Labour Day at City Stadium. Tusker went ahead to win the match 3-0.

This will Gor's first match under coach Allan "Ogango" Thigo.

Mahakama: Struggling to move from the bottom of the table, Makahama coach Mike Amenga is happy with the return to action of dependable players Ibrahim Kitavi and Collins Omondi both who have recovered from ankle injuries.

They host archrivals Red Berets on Sunday.

Bandari: In a bid to steady their sinking ship, Harambee Stars' assistant coach Twahir Muhidin has been drafted into the technical bench to assist coach Wycliffe Anyangu.

It is understood Muhidin would be the club's technical director. The duo, however, was helpless as the coastal side lost away to Sher Karuturi last week in Naivasha. They face an acid test against Mathare United.
