The Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has blasted the AC governorship candidate, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, for denouncing Governor Oserheimen Osunbor as a 419 officer over his approval of 15 percent salary increase for workers.

It described Oshiomhole's comments as anti-labour coming from a labour leader. The Edo State PDP publicity secretary, Dr. Francis Omo Osunde Iyasere, told newsmen in Lagos that Oshiomhole's comment was deceiving the people.

He said they were unfair and that judgement was expected to be delivered by June as another of his antics to stampede the court. Dr. Iyasere asked if Oshiomhole was now a member of the Appeal Court to dictate on how the pace of the case should go and the time frame.

He added that Oshiomhole's claims were just based on assumptions and that in collective bargaining there is always a take-off date and point for salary increases as he should know better.
