Nigerian midfielder, Mikel John Obi declared that he is the busiest of Nigerian super pros and this was the reason he hardly honoured invitation to play for the under-23.

Mikel who dropped from the Olympic team by coach Samson Siasia said however, that he is willing to play for the country anytime he is called upon.

"I've got a very busy schedule. Amongst Nigeria's national team players, I'm the busiest because I play every week and even in the mid-week," Mikel told Brila FM sports.

Mikel added that he loves playing for Nigeria, but at the same fulfil his club ambitions.

"I'm a Nigerian and I'll always want to bring out the best in this country and this is what I want to do. When people say I don't want to play for this country it really hurts me."

"I think it's a game that we obviously have to win and hopefully we'll wait for Manchester United to slip, to drop points and then we can capitalize on it.
